Abba Father,

You know each night I go to bed with anxiety and fear. I have trouble sleeping as the enormity of the day ahead has already worn me down. I open my eyes and see the yellow shine though, sometimes astonished that you've allowed me another day. Today, I get to wake up once more and join your company.

You see me. Who am I in all the earth that you take notice? That the Creator of all things would peer inside my weakened heart and mend what is broken? Filling the darken cracks with your light.

Thankful is too small a word to express my humbled souls gratitude. Each day I fail you, yet you see past my iniquities and bless me further. Rain when I need washed. A lite candle to remember your promise. A song in my heart to sing praises.

You are so great, and I am so small. Let my life be a vessel to those around me. Continue refining me to bring about your glory.
