Gift Subscriptions For Homeschool Families

December 6, 2016

This post may contain affiliate links. When you purchase anything after clicking these links, it benefits my family at no extra cost to you. Thank you!
I'm not sure about you, but I look forward to getting the mail. I don't care if it's all bills and junk mail. There's always a little bit of hope that between the rolled up newspaper, there could be a hand written letter from a friend or an unexpected package! My girls love, love, love getting birthday cards and notes from our pen-pal in the Netherlands. And I know I'm not the only homeschooling mom out there who when the UPS guy shows up with new curriculum, gets a little giddy like a kid at Christmas.

So I got to thinking...if I love getting mail, and my kids love getting mail, and Christmas is almost here, why not order some gifts that keep on giving?

Enter, Subscription Boxes!

When I was researching for this post, I had no idea that there are literally a gazillion Gift Subscriptions to choose from. Cooking, beauty, men, women, and children's clothing, pets, Green Living, gaming, fitness, and home decor. You name it, it's out there! (And yes, 'gazillion' is a word. Just ask my four year old.)

These Monthly Subscriptions are convenient, educational and of course full of awesome! There's so many options to enhance our children's learning by simply bringing a little joy to the mail box each month! But first, here's some idea's for you. The amazing mother you are, Lovie!

For the Coffee Lovers. Start your day right. And awake. Fair trade coffee doing good all over the world? It's like super hero's disguised as coffee. Sign me up!

Stitch Fix is Ah-Mazing! I rarely go shopping for myself. Because dressing rooms + preschoolers = Um, no... No fun with three preschoolers, lemme tell you. Having my own personal stylist makes me feel *Celebrity* special. Having clothes delivered right to my doorstep that are adorable, even better!

You got your coffee and you're snuggled up with your super cute sweater from Stitch Fix, now you get to fill your soul with goodness and light from Faith Box! Devotionals and other goodies to grow your faith. Yes, and Amen!

The Preschool Box is a MUST for littles, and I can't wait to receive our box! {Squeee!} When I first started homeschooling my girls, I was really good in the artsy-craftsy department. But as we added more to the brood, it became really challenging to plan it all out. The Preschool Box has done all the work for me! Yay!

Compass Crate! Be still my ever nature lovin' heart! You guys, this may be my most favorite. Even above coffee and that's says a lot. Seriously. Just a little FYI, their December box has sold out! That's how fabulous this box is. But don't fret, you can still order a fantastic box this month. :)

Groovy Lab In A Box is next. My Ellie is all about STEM activities. Ever since I can remember, she's been breaking taking things apart just to figure out how they work, then she'll rebuild it her way. These boxes are "Way rad!"as she would say.

Green Kid Crafts is an awesome way to teach Creation, and is an award winning, earth friendly monthly craft subscription service for kids that sparks creativity and cultivates respect and love for the environment.

We are currently using Little Passports World Edition to supplement our geography. We want to raise globally minded kids, and Little Passports helps to bring the world to us. We combine Little Passports with "Living Books" chosen from Give Your Child the World that we can find at our local library.

You didn't think I leave out books did you? Did you read my about page? Go ahead, then scroll to number 10. Lilly post gives you the option of choosing board books for your littles or picture books for the older kiddos.  "Each month, tiny fingers will eagerly open hand-wrapped packages and discover carefully curated books, a lovely little note, and stickers for fun!"

Read Aloud Revival. Even though Membership is closed until Spring, RAR is definitely something you want to bookmark {giggle} for later. I missed the deadline, and my heart is a wee chipped because I won't be able to participate in all the goodness, especially when Tomie dePaola is sharing. When I was little, his Book Oliver Button is a Sissy, along with  The Giant Jam Sandwich by John Vernon Lord, are the only two books I checked out at the library. Plus Sarah McKenzie and her Spiral Notebooking; Brilliant!

The Homeschool Alliance with Julie Bogart. There are times in every homeschool journey where we struggle. Every family has it's challenges.Life will sling mud in your face and knock you down, and you'll need someone to help you back up again. That's my life right now. Being a ten year veteran to homeschooling doesn't mean I have it all together or I know what I'm doing. I don't. I think one of the best things we can do for our families is admitting when we need help. It's not weakness when we do, it's strength and courageous. So this year, I'm giving myself a coach. In my opinion, Julie is the best.

Aaahhh, Amazon Prime. My BFF. Technically, Amazon Prime isn't a monthly boxed subscription, but I guarantee that if you sign up, you'll be seeing plenty-o-boxes showing up at your door! Free 2-day shipping on books galore, Prime Pantry, Movies, Music and soooo much more!

So there you have it! My favorite Gift Subscriptions for Homeschool Families.

Do you have a favorite subscription? Please share, I'd love to know!
